Loved this symposium! Great speakers, an agent panel, thoughtful information, wonderful conversations. The venue was so much better than Zoom, with rooms that looked like the “old” way, in-person writing conferences: a stage and seating, breakout rooms where we could talk in a small group or person-to-person, and even a green room to prepare for agent appointments. It felt real and personable, instead of the sterile Zoom classes. When’s the next one?

This is a great platform for conferences/symposiums/gatherings because if feels akin to being in person. I also liked having opportunities to casually chat with other participants and the speakers in between sessions and at the end of the day—the extra meeting rooms are nice as is the bookstore! The bookstore allows people to go check out a bunch of material without having to download it which is nice. The symposium felt intimate, and questions were encouraged. There were some dynamic speakers, and I walked away with some food for thought. Having some slots open to pitch to agents was nice and it was low stress.

Overall, this was a great group of people in a cozy setting with good conversations.

The GoBrunch platform is much better than Zoom. Agent segment was tops for

me and I wish I could have watched it from the start. I’ll rewatch it on the recordings.

This was a terrific symposium for me. While I’ve been a writer for many years, I phase in and out of the industry, depending on my job status. Now, as I plan to transition to full-time writing in the next 6 months, this was a great re-launch. I was able to connect with fellow writers, build resources, and figure out next steps. The quality of the platform, speakers, symposium organization, and materials was top notch!

Loved the handouts. Loved the resources. Loved the agent panel, Q & A, and the opportunity to pitch! Boy did I learn from that. Esty was intense, a little scary, and very engaged. I definitely came away with information and next steps.

Everyone was kind and supportive to me. Lots of experience in the room!

A fantastic group of professionals. Some spoke more directly to my current needs more than others, but all gave me ideas and tools for my toolbox. All were prepared and knew of what they spoke. It was exciting.

Loved the GoBrunch venue! The bookstore and meeting spaces and conference structure were all excellent. I love remote and this made it fun.

I’m not sure how that symposium could be topped. Loved the span of topics and styles.
