Oval Brown Wooden Framed Hanging Mirror

Writing can feel like opening a vein and letting the blood flow, which is often frustrating and lonely. This symposium will be overflowing with ideas for self-care, specifically directed toward helping writers to find workable solutions on three levels, body, mind, and soul.

Self-care is about creating and following specific “rules” that apply to each individual which will encourage behaviors to help that individual find physical, mental, and spiritual health and happiness.

Our experts are all accomplished and successful writers in their own fields. They also are skilled in assisting people to find joy and achievement in self-care.

In this symposium, we delve into the importance of self-care in the writing process. We believe that a healthy mind is the birthplace of creativity, and it’s crucial for writers to prioritize their mental health to unlock their full potential.

Our sessions will cover a range of topics, from managing writing-induced stress to maintaining a balanced lifestyle amidst deadlines. We’ll hear from accomplished authors who have mastered the art of self-care and are eager to share their strategies with you.

Remember, writing is not just about the end product; it’s about the journey. And we’re here to ensure your journey is as fulfilling and stress-free as possible. Join us in exploring the intersection of creativity and self-care at the Writer’s Self-Care Symposium. We can’t wait to see you there!

Every speaker had something “just for me”. Usually in the form of encouragement and a “you’ve got this” mindset.

I think you have created ideas for conferences, speaking engagements, and lessons that are unique to this writing world. Unique and valuable. So many of us study, attend conferences, and listen to podcasts or videos focusing on the writing process. You focus on the person. The ones with unique challenges, many of us think we’re the only ones with doubts, bad habits, and fear. It’s good to know others, even those with success, are vulnerable in one way or another.

Your next seminars sound just as good and I’m sure will be just as welcomed. For me, a retired RN, the upcoming one for healers is especially welcome. I struggle with being retired because a disabling fall led to that retirement. I still miss it. I still miss every step down a long hall, every delivery, every snuggle with a newborn, every NICU baby going home, and every form of education I offered–nursing students, childbirth, breastfeeding, CPR, safe baby-sitting, and facilitating pregnancy and newborn loss as a perinatal bereavement counselor. I suppose bereavement was the most rewarding.

I will be at every one of your soul meditation weekends. You have been blessed with a gift. You’re using it to serve. I like that.

This symposium was filled with so much information. I was stunned at the low price to obtain so many classes. All the speakers were professional and well-versed in their craft. Several subjects were covered that I wouldn’t have thought about such as personal defense, nutrition, and wellness. I will be looking for more symposiums to sign up for in the future. Thanks to all the instructors!
